Home truths
We want guests to thoroughly enjoy their stay at Boscantle and therefore there are a few things we are keen to ensure you are aware of before booking your stay:
- There is a close and welcoming local community. However, if you are looking for a place for a a party and to otherwise cause a lot of noise this is probably not the property for you. Our gardens are lovely and private which can make it easy to forget there are neighbouring properties close by – especially at the front of the house and by the pool. We kindly request that guests avoid screaming, shouting or other unnecessary noise at any time.
- There are 2 routes to Helford Passage - either along the road or down a footpath directly opposite the property which takes you down to Bar Beach. Both of these routes are steep and may be difficult for anyone with reduced mobility.
- The swimming pool is heated during summer months (May-September). Out of these months it will be out-of-bounds. The pool is 1.25m deep throughout. Therefore great for swimming but not for diving or jumping. In the summer months the pool is available for use from 7am to 9pm.
- The WiFi and mobile signal are generally good and reliable. However, no guarantee can be provided this will always be the case.
- We bought the house in 2020 and have steadily been refurbishing it since. The kitchen, dining areas, bathrooms and back of house areas are next on the list. They are perfectly nice spaces (as shown by the photos) but will be improved further in due course!
- There are 4 bath/shower rooms (plus an additional shower on the ground floor). However, please note that the Master Bedroom does not have a bath and the Bathroom on the top floor does not have a shower.
